James is an Advisory Board member of the PEAL Capital Group. He has spent over 25 years working at leading private equity, venture capital and family office firms. He serves on the Boards of NextPhase Medical Devices, Colerain Family RV & Young Audiences. He also serves on the Advisory Boards of MOGUL and Mission: Restore. James co-founded Left Tackle Capital in 20xx with the mission to change the demographics and culture of asset management by supporting funds led by women and minorities.
James has a PhD in International Economics from Columbia University, a B.A. from Baylor University, and a Certificate on Monetary and Fiscal Policy from the Japanese Ministry of Finance. He is Co-Author of Rocka My Soul, the story of the 1981 Jack Yates Lions, the first All African-American football team to break through and make it to the Texas state championship.
