William sits on the Advisory Board of the PEAL Capital Group. William has extensive experience in operational & investment management across a wide range of industries. He is currently the COO for Maroone USA where he has helped build the firm from a standing start to six auto retail franchises over a four year period. William is also responsible for the underwriting, due diligence and execution of M&A transactions, investments and growth opportunities. In addition to his role as COO, he assists the broader Maroone family office with investments including public equity, private equity and real estate opportunities.

 

William started his career at BMGI, the investment firm for Bill & Melinda Gates and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Trust, where he focused on direct public equity investments. He has an MBA from Duke University and has earned a CFA designation.
